O2 Hotshot South Kilkenny Area

Been thinking of getting mobile broadband for a bit but am unable to verify what kind of average download speed I would get in South Kilkenny.
On the o2 site it says the area is covered however I have read a few comments from people in different areas around the country saying that they aren't getting any where near the speeds promised and getting fairly bad signals. Can't find any comments or reviews from around this part of the country , so if any one has any experience with it would be really grateful if they could share their opinions on it as am not too keen on signing up for a 12 month contract with something I have no idea if it will actually work.

Average is meaningless to you, and no one elses experience will mean anything either. It may or may not work, and only you can determine that.

Wow thanks for the helpful advice.
Posted in this section hoping that maybe some one from the same area had experience with the device, never in my wildest dreams did I expect to get such tremendous advice.

If this is how you moderate the forums I think some one needs to seriously assess your capabilities as a mod.Have been posting on boards for a while now and this is the first time I have come across such blatant **** headedness from a mod for absolutely no reason.

I thought I was asking a simple enough question and hoped that maybe would get a simple enough answer.

Get down off your high horse there, why don't you. I gave you an accurate answer, the only one that actually matters. If you're too ignorant to recognize that then go elsewhere with the attitude. I'm sure others will love to deal with you.

The advise given is 100% accurate because anything else would only be pointless and actually wouldn't help you.

The best way for you to find out the speed is to use the service in the area you want it for.
Just because you might believe the post wasn't being helpful doesn't make it wrong.

The situation regarding mobile broadband is crap but jor el was only being up front in this instance I believe.

If you have a problem with a mod please don't drag it up on thread, ether report the post, discuss via pm and if that doesn't sort it go to dispute resolution.

Your on boards.ie long enough to know the general rules in fairness
