Cycling Ireland website now has this update:

NOTICE: Newbridge Credit Union CC are keen to point out that the club are staging the Paddy Flanagan Two-Day A1/2/3 (three stages) and the Ned Flanagan which will cater for A3/4 also over two days, BUT the 'Ned' is not a stage event. The A3/4 can turn up on either day to race this Saturday and Sunday.

Pity the Ned Flanagan wasn't better publicised. Was under the impression there was no A4 racing in Leinster this weekend and made alternative plans.

Same course as the Ned Flanagan race in February?

Sorry Iv no idea, not involved with the club... simply wanted to do an A3 race in Leinster this weekend.

The local paper here suggests that the course for A3/4 is similar to the Feb race but starting/finishing in Kildare Town, A1/2 get a bit extra, out of Stradbally over the Windy Gap and down to the old N78 before swinging back to Athy and on to Kildare.

this seems to suggest that you just turn up for the a3/4 ?

Anyone have a route map for Saturdays Ned Flanagan? Failing that - does anyone know if there are any decent climbs on the route or is it another flatun?
    Cheers

Don't hold me to the exact details but from the description in the local paper these are roughly the routes of the two races.

    A1/2

There's a TT on the old Dublin road and a Crit on a circuit close to the town on Sunday.

120k advertised, told 110k on the startline, was actually 88k... Hmmm

    Anyway

Anyone know where the TT is tomorrow morning? Anyone got a mapmyride etc?

Ahh Ryan, you spoiled it for me. I was wondering how those demiGods in A1/2 were finished 120km so quickly...

Congrats to the 4 lads who contested the win from their strong break in A3/4 and notable mention to Donough on his birthday in with a whiff of glory with 500m to go ;) sadly whiffs of glory tend to be snuffed out by a bunch galloping past with 400 to go.
Goodbye to Aaron Raphaman who has accumulated enough points to join the A1/2 demiGods on their 88~120km courses!
