    Specs:
    2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
    Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz
    8GB 1600MHz memory
    256GB flash storage1
    Intel HD Graphics 4000
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 memory

And it comes with the Retina display. It's just so prettyfull :'3
Slight downside would probably be the VRAM for resolutions that high D: But other than that, a GT650M in something so pretty D:
Well, that and also the lack of a matte screen option xD
Thoughts on the new line guys?

This retina display nonsense is getting ridiculous. A resolution bump itself isn't a bad thing but quadrupling it is just plain pointless. It's the same with the iPad, they should have upped the resolution but not quadrupled it. A smaller increase would provide similar benefits without the downsides.

The 15" non retina MacBook Pro would be the way to go, in my opinion.

    €2,349!

    And it's $2,199 (€1,761) in the U.S.

    Sorry but that's just robbery.

The US price doesn't include sales tax which is the equivalent of VAT here. It varies depending on the state you buy it in so they never include it in the price.

Vat's like 23% :L Blame the state not Apple :L I'll most likely get it overseas anyways :L

And yeah I get you with the whole pixel packing thing but it would be interesting to see it first hand xD I think if done correctly it would turn out pretty nicely. Otherwise it'd be akin to a 1080p screen on the ones from the Asus Zen series ultrabooks; just not meant for such a small screen :< In that case I'd just get the lowest end 15" and just upgrade the screen :3

Remove the 23% off the Irish price and it's still €150 higher than the US Sales tax exclusive price.
