Hey, dunno if this is the right place for this but couldn't see anywhere better, sooo....
does anyone know how to get the bbc iplayer here in Ireland? I've heard whispers of an app being available that enables us to get it...

Recognises Irish IP addresses and blocks the content.

We get the BBC TV channels for free, and you deem the fact they limit their online content to, oh I don't know, the territories that actually pay the licence fee that pays for the content as "racism"? A bit harsh, no?.

There are ways around it, but it's against the charter to discuss them here (and probably against the charter to ask as well).

You can get the iPlayer global app for a charge, only available on iOS devices at the moment though. It doesn't have the same up to date content as the UK specific iPlayer.

It's coming "soon" to UPC on demand AFAIK.
