What am I doing wrong on Hotmail?

I put in my password, Username and a the usual stuff but when It comes to the phone number I can't do it... I selected 'Ireland (+353)' and I typed in my fathers phone number (I can't remember my own) and it said that was invalid and then I tried my mothers phone number and the same thing. I also tried my home number but the same thing happened again. Does it allow to use a phone number more than once on hotmail? Also, On the Zip code, I type in '0404' and it said 'Verify that you've entered the correct information'. Any help? Thanks

we don't have ZIP codes in ireland so maybe that's why that doesn't work.

as for the phone number you could just skip it & not bother with it

    enter phone without initial 0
    Like so
    Ireland (353)
    871234567

Choose Ireland before you enter a zip, it will remove the field for zip

Use biko's suggestions, and if you still are required to enter a ZIP, use EIRE. Or, if that doesn't work, use BT11AA.

But when I set up my hotmail account I didn't know about BT11AA and got on fine without it... don't even think I had to enter EIRE. Are you sure you're filling everything else in correctly? Confirming your password for example, make sure they're identical, and make sure to tick the T+C's box or they'll ask you to verify.
