    I've a job interview next week in Belfast. Will be travelling from home in Roscommon up by public transport if possible. What would be the easiest way.

    From Roscommon town the train to Heuston, change via luas to Connelly and Enterprise train to Belfast central is probably easiest.

    a bus from roscommon to busaras, then cross the road to connolly station and hop on the belfast train.

    Tbh, those slow coaches would be a last resort. You'd be stusk to the seat after :D
