Car insurance (Total car newbie here!)

    So I just got a Nissan Almera (tis a 1.4 and is my first car) but Ive also only got my learners permit, basicly Im just wondering what would be the best way to go about getting the best price on insurance?

    Any advice would be very much appreciated!

    Ring every insurance company you can, have a notebook and a pen, write down all the quotes you get with the names. You could also try playing them off each other, works sometimes. Best of luck.

    OP, the first bit of advice I would have given is to shop around for insurance before buying a car otherwise you may well be stuck with a car you cannot afford to insurance which makes it useless to you.

    To answer your question, nobody here can tell you what insurance company will be cheapest for you. You will need to ring all insurance companies and insurance brokers and see which one offers the best cover for the most competitive price.
