Being complete noob to DIY world, I'm thinking of installing laminate flooring in living room and hall on my own. never done it before but checked out the forum and good few tutorials on youtube and feel I can do it... i'm just looking for some tips from people who done it before:
    1. what thickness to choose (does it really make that much difference between 7 - 9 - 11 mm?)
    2. recommended flooring stores
    3. where can i rent equipment (saw)
    4. how to choose right underlay
    5. anything else you think might help...

    thanks :)

    Floor Design in ballyfermot,
    Minimum 9mm

Always allow a couple of extra meters.

The off cut of the last piece on each row should be the first piece on the next row.
