Slade Valley death

    Hearing a story at the moment about a 60 odd year old lad found dead floating in a lake on the course.

    Anyone else hear anything?

    I was told his bag and shoes were found on thr course with him no where to be seen. Garda chopper called in and he was found in the lake.

    Tragic no matter what happened....

    RIP!

    There are no lakes in Slade Valley......?
    There's a small water hole that's maybe 10yds x 10yds tops.
    Where did you hear this story ?

    Friend of mine lives next door to the lad who died and he rang me.
    Maybe he got the course confused but he definitely told me it was slade.

    I see another thread about grange castle and Garda up there but I know there was a very serious assault there last night with the young lad now in Beaumont hospital so thought that was that.
