Running Games From Steam (No CD) - Upgrading RAM or HDD?

I'm building a new comp and have gotten my specs. Thing is, I'll be mostly running games from Steam (not CD's). Therefore, should I upgrade my RAM instead of my HDD?! Surely, I should go all out on RAM then ?! Or would it even make a difference?!

Steam doesnt need any more RAM then a game running from a CD. Around 8gigs DDR3 is plenty.

If all your games are on steam and you like to hoard them then you will need a nice big harddisk.

yep as fionny says, games don't need any more than 8gb these days
better off investing in a big hard drive so you can install all those nice Steam games onto :)
maybe invest in a nice SSD for your operating system and have all your Steam games on a separate big hard drive
