    My car seems to be in need of alot of oil every three weeks, no leaks or spills marks on the ground not sure where the oil is going

    Are you doing much mileage in that time?
    What kind of car is it, as some such as golfs tend to burn oil alot faster than others

    Whats the car and its age/milage? Heavy oil use without any external leak indicates an internal leak - oil and the cooling system mixing. Have a look inside the coolant expansion tank.

    are you burning the oil ??

    get someone to rev the engine and stand at the exhaust and se if smoke is blue or anything coming out of tailpipe

    Most manufacturers only worry when you use more than 1l per thousand miles, can't remember the metric. If you're using less just keep topping up, more and you need someone to look at it.

    on a car that's otherwise running well a common fault for increased consumption is a blocked PCV valve. They are different on each car/model so you would need to google your particular car...
