    Lads,

Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the R11 adaptor from a shaft and replace it with an R9 adaptor?

Why would you want to it fits both clubs the same. But most pros should be able to do it. Mike

If you use an R11 adaptor with an R9 head you lose the ability to adjust the head open or closed - the R11 adaptor is flat, so the head angle stays the same however you rotate the head - the R9 is bevelled up and down(like a sine wave) so the head angle changes as you rotate the head

Our club pro fitted an adaptor to a standard R11 shaft so it should be possible to replace on with the other.
