It's that tie again and my 07 Saab 9-3 need a service (full service this time). I'm looking for where to go and was thinking the Opel dealership in Liffey Valley basically because this is part of the GM group.

Would you go along with that or is there any other suggestions? I'm in Leixlip.

    Thanks :)

There is no specific reason to consider a main dealer. A reputable independent garage will be cheaper and will provide as good a service, if not better in many cases.

You could try CD Motors in Fairview. They are an indy that specialise in Saabs. A bit far from you I know but could save some money.

I have no connection other than a happy customer.

I'd agree for the most part but this is not always the case. I have been quoted cheaper prices for servicing by the main dealer I use than from the local indie. Plus the standard of service is better and included use of a car while it was in.

I'm not saying this is often the case but saying it will be cheaper is not true. The best thing to do is shop around.
