Hey could you guys recommend me a good intervelometer for a Canon 600D?
Something I could do long exposure night photography/star-trails, stop motion and such...?

    Thanks.

I've used one of these with a 400D and it's fine. I've just ordered another one with the N3 connector for another camera.

Magic Lantern firmware has one if you're feeling adventurous (:

Nah, my 600d is barely a year old. Wouldn't wanna void the guarantee already...

    It doesn't say it'ld work with the 600D... :(

Actually one of the review says it works with the 550D but it seems to be limited to 399 shots...

Hmm... I'm still not that adventurous yet. There's little the magiclantern can do to enhance my photo/video capabilities right now. Might get some more use out of my 600D and then when I feel i'ld need the extra features of the magiclantern, I'll give it a shot but for now I'ld prefer to just invest in an intervelometer remote thing...

Although saying that, if I don't find a decent intervelometer, I might give it a go...

Yes, there is a 399 limit. Have you looked at using the Canon EOS Utility and a laptop/netbook? How many pictures are you looking to get to?

The 400D, 550D and 600D all share the same 2.5mm jack as a remote connector. It's electricial (not software) and will work. I've used mine with a 400D and EOS 30 film camera without problems.
