    News | June 3, 2012 -

According to the French website Gamekyo are at Sega plans to the European division of Sega to close. The focus from European studios should be shifted to digital games.

The rumor goes on to say that Creative Assembly, developer of the Total War series at E3 will announce another big game, which is also the last game of Sega Europe. Then we have to do with console games from Japan and the United States are released. The rumor goes on to say that local branches of Sega will be closed. Sega itself has not yet responded to the rumor.

In addition to the Total War games of Creative Assembly is Sports Interactive's Football Manager owned by Sega. Sega Europe also has several games under his wing, like Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed by Sumo Digiital is made.

The Creative Assembly didn't present anything at all in E3. Not sure if that invalidates the rumour. I know that they had been planning to to present something there as recently as April, because I know someone who had been working it.
