Austin Aries/Samoa Joe, and Angle/Styles v Kaz/Daniels were solid matches. Nice appearance from Christian. Main Event wasn't great, Sting is a bit old at this point and can only manage 10 minute matches - which is understandable.

Surprised Jeff Jarrett wasn't at the show to be honest. He played a big role in TNA at the start. Overall, I gave the show a 7. It's nice to see TNA matches under a proper atmosphere with a good sized audience. They really need to get away from the impact arena more often. It almost felt like WCW - I don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, but it was certainly one of their better PPV's in the last while.

Great show all round. Joe/Aries was really great, the tag title match was awesome (and I'm hoping we get rematches), Hernandez looked like the big star he should've been years ago, three way was pretty good, the crowd went crazy for Devon and the main event was a strange one (the kind of just didn't do anything, their TV match was better). Joe Park's greatness helped carry that match, Sting is a good choice for te Hall of Fame, and it was rather surreal seeing a current WWE champion introduce TNA's greatest moment.

With the way Karen's been going crazy on Twitter, not being the first inductee to the Hall of Fame will probably lead to Jarrett's return to TV.

How was Christian allowed on the show? Was it sort of WWE repaying TNA for allowing Flair to appear on the HOF?

Really really enjoyed the PPV, being out of the IMPACT! Zone with such a large crowd certainly made for a much more impactful(excuse the dreadful pun) presentation and atmosphere.

Wonder if this will finally give TNA management the confidence to go on the road full time..

They could do with relocating to Texas full time and run it like an old territory promotion.

There are more than enough arenas in Texas and the surrounding states for them to use and it would help the product tremendously.

If they could afford it they would but unfortunately as it stands they can't afford it.

Great show all round, fantastic to see such a good crowd there too. The whole set up really made them seem like a big deal.

Joe/Aries was fantastic, great to see Joe being so over. Can't wait to see how Aries fares in the main event against the likes of Roode etc.

Enjoyed Kash and Hernandez much more than I expected, really thought Hernandez was gonna be injured after the leap to the outside.

Devon match was ok, Garrett is awful.

Tessmacher is unreal. Match was a little sloppy but the last spot was decent. She looked hurt though.

Sting rightfully got the HOF spot, makes sense since he's not in any others. Jarrett would have been a worthy candidate also, but I imagine they'll do something with it as a storyline if Karen Jarrett's tweets are anything to go by.

Crimson lost so there goes the only interesting thing about him. Storm's return was a little underwhelming as most people were probably expecting someone else.

Joe Park was great in his match. The "Abyss" was someone from Bully Ray's wrestling school apparently. It was done pretty well and furthers the storyline so we may get a cocky Joe Park now, which could be great.

The Christian appearance was really not needed. I cringed watching it as you could tell he really didn't want to be there. Got even worse with the "please come back" chants. Nearly expected him to start shooting on the company when he was saying one thing never changed :D. It was really cool seeing him there though as such arrangements are all too rare.

Tag match was great, what made it for me was Kurt's reaction to winning the belts. He looked like he'd won the lottery or something. It gave the titles extra credibility and it's great to see them caring about it. Compare it to WWE's tag titles .

Bobby was always going to retain in the main event, Sting went over on the last two Impacts and already had the HOF and No.1 moment so didn't need the win. The ending was quite good too, bottle shot looked stiff. Pity about the length though.

All in all, a great show. Can't wait for Impact this week.

Awesome PPV. Great wrestling matches, great presentation, great fans, everything just really seemed to click on this show. TNA are doing all the right things lately and have really stepped up their game the last few weeks.

I've watched it a few times since Sunday, and while there have been better matches this year, I think the tag title match on this show is my favourite match of the year so far.

I had to skip the op because I'm just watching the Aries match at the moment

What a unreal match, best match I've seen for a long time

Really enjoyed it. Aries vs Joe was brilliant as was the Tag Title match really want to see them again at Destination X maybe 2/3 falls. Joseph Park vs Bully Ray was entertaining too. Didn't really care for the Main Event, did anyone really want to see Sting vs Roode again. I think they overstated Hogan's 'impact' since joining them while Jarrett was kinda ignored.

TNA IMPACT WRESTLING celebrated their tenth anniversary in style, bringing in the big guns and pulling out all the stops on a fantastic Slammiversary PPV.

The night saw titles change hands, quality matches featuring big name stars, the first ever TNA Hall of Fame announcement and a surprise appearance by a current WWE Champion.

Hulk Hogan opened proceedings to a huge ovation, hyping up the night’s event and making the opening bout between Austin Aries and Samoa Joe an X Division Title one.

The pair put on a crisp bout with some big bumps and high risk moves. Joe looked set to net himself another X Title to add to his collection, but the resilient Aries was able to nail a Brain Buster to retain his belt.

Up next, the returning Kid Kash went down to Hernandez, before the oddball tag team of TV Champion Devon and newcomer Garrett Bischoff overcame the combo of Robbie’s E and T in a fair, but unexciting scrap.

A triple threat battle for a world heavyweight title shot saw Mr Anderson defeat Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam in a match of brutal rules and frantic near-falls.

The trio of former champs worked beautifully together and highlighted the current depth of talent on the TNA roster.

Crimson’s year-long winning streak ended quickly next at the boot of Cowboy James Storm.

Storm took to the ring like a man possessed, swiftly taking Crimson down and nailing a Last Call Superkick to a huge crowd response.

TNA president Dixie Carter then brought out the entire roster and announced Sting as the first inductee to the Hall of Fame, before Brooke Tessmacher wrestled the Knockouts Title away from Gail Kim in front of Brooke’s hometown Texas crowd.

Bully Ray bullied Joseph Park throughout their match. The one-sided affair saw Abyss’s storyline brother absorb some stiff shots from Ray, before an Abyss imposter appeared and blasted Bully through a table to allow Joseph the win.

Hogan then brought out current WWE Intercontinental champion Christian. Billed by his previous TNA name of Christian Cage, the former world champion praised the company and its fans for everything they have done.

Dream team AJ Styles and Kurt Angle took on tag team champions Kaz and Daniels next in an epic encounter for the belts.

This one never let up, each man stepped up their game here and unleashed their best and boldest moves throughout.

Angle and Styles overcame the near-falls and double-teams eventually to pick up the titles, with Styles taking out Daniels to leave Kaz prone for an Ankle Lock.

The rejuvenated Sting’s attempt to regain the world title from Bobby Roode saw the veteran step up his game and gain a level of revenge on the cocky heel.

The match itself was a fairly back-and-forth encounter, with champ and challenger trading control in and out of the ring.

Roode eventually relied on a beer bottle to retain his treasured gold, but Sting gained a measure of revenge with a post-match beatdown to send fans home happy.

Slammiversary was one of TNA’s best ever PPVs and arguably the best wrestling show of 2012 so far.

If TNA now pick up that ball and run with it, then the company has a very bright next 10 years ahead.

    Christian and who else?

Would have been cool to have a skit with some guys who were a part of the company in the past. Jeff Jarrett, Rhyno, Raven, Scott Steiner, Kevin Nash, Petey Williams, and Don West come to mind.

The final attendance figure for TNA’s 2012 Slammiversary PPV in Arlington, TX, was an estimated 5,500, which was a near sell out.

Roughly 4,300 tickets were sold in advance for the event, which indicates a small amount of crowd papering.
