Yeap, I purchased many items from Amazon de/it/fr in last few years, delivery takes about 2/3 working days, superb customer service, no issues with refunds/replacements.

Out of curiosity which lappy will you be purchasing from Amazon.de?

I'ts different but I've been using a French keyboard on my old Acer for the last 5 years and it took me a few weeks to get used to it.

    You'll be grand.

Stupid question, but I take it I will need to buy a German socket adapter too?

Not necessarily the power cable normally plugs into the adapter and you might already have one.
