Splitting HDMI output? Powered & unpowered?

Had an active,powered, one from Amazon, Cablesson® - 2 Way HDMI SPLITTER BOX 1x2 Portand have sent it back because it was causing too much interference to FM radio reception. There is no mention of interference in the 75 Customer Reviews. Was this a faulty unit, or is it because my FM radio is directly above the splitter?…

Anybody using with success an unpowered splitter, 1 in 2 out. HDMI cable lengths 7.5meter & 3 meter.

The reports I read for the unpowered ones are all very negative.
