    Can anyone recommend a nice place to stay in Alicante. We just booked cheap flights and I havent a clue about the area. I will have my two teenaged daughters with me so want somewhere close to bars restaurants etc but not like "Ibiza";)

    Hi we stayed in La Florida last year and it was lovely.About 45 mins from Alicante.

    La zenia or Caba Roig would be nice too.

    Have you looked at torrevieja? We're renting an apartment in Punta Prima which is about 10k away from Torrevieja. We've got a toddler so Punta Prima seems more quiet but it might be too quiet for teenagers. We got a 2 bed apartment for €600 in total. Lots of gorgeous beaches in the area too.

    We booked in La Marina, 3 bed detached villa for 350pounds whatever that is in Euro. It seems to be ok. OHs friend was over there last week and checked it out. Close to bars and clubs but not too close.
