I've been hearing a strange noise coming from my engine, a friend had a look at said that it might be the gearbox/clutch. it makes a rubbing noise(the best that i can describe it) mostly in second gear going slow in traffic, and you can hear it like it is going round in a circle you hear the noise and goes in a circle…

any suggestions

just had the clutch done but that noise was there before the clutch was done.
