Hi all, I am interesting in applying for a taught masters this year and have just finished my degree at Trinity. Just wondering if I need to upload my transcript and this pro forma document to verify my degree result even if my undergraduate degree was done in Trinity and they'd already have access to all of my information? Hope this makes sense and that someone can help, thanks!

Under 'supporting documents': if you did your undergraduate at TCD then no need for a transcript or degree cert :)

Thanks! This is what I thought but when I get to the end of the application form on my.tcd.ie, it won't let me submit the application without uploading a transcript and permission to validate my results....I'm probably doing something wrong

Have they moved away from PAC? I remember doing it before and I could submit without transcripts, but maybe they changed the system. Maybe contact the course director?

What did you end up doing in the end? I'm in the same boat here and after emailing the helpdesk they've told me I can upload a sheet with my student number instead of the transcript but I still need to upload the pro-forma. I don't really understand the pro-forma. Do I need to go and get someone in my department to fill out the 2nd part? Or does the college itself send these things out once you've signed them? (except in this case obviously they won't have to send it anywhere, since I'm a TCD student).

Whoever is reviewing your application will be able to look up your grades on the internal TCD system, so they don't need transcripts. They're telling you to upload the page with your student number just so that it will let you click 'submit'.

:D Ok, actually figured it'd be something like that. And the pro-forma? Can I just print it, sign it, scan it and upload it?
EDIT: Yep, the GSO emailed me back and said that was fine. Hope this helps anyone else applying online!

I ended up just uploading the transcript since I already had a copy scanned for a different application. I just filled out my part of the pro forma, didn't bother getting it signed since the course director didn't seem to think I had to. If it's not right, I suppose I'll just get it signed and upload it again. Very confusing system for TCD graduates!
