    if anyone has watched safe house can they please help me out with understanding something?

    Why does the CIA take in frost in the beginning of the movie only to send in a team later to take frost out of the safe house? I'm struggling to understand the logic here. As we find out later in te movie the fat CIA guy is corrupt, so I could undderstand the sequence of events if it was purely him who was trying to cover his tracks. However we later see the CHIEF CIA guy attempting to cover up the corruption in the report, what's more is the fact that he asked about frosts file filled with incriminating evidence. Here's the part I don't understand: if the main men in the CIA knew about the incriminating evidence why were they trying to send in a different team? That makes no sense to me. Surely the legitimate team thatthe cia already had could weasel out where the file was located and subsequently hand it over to the cOrrupt CIA men where they could dispose of it? Instead they made everything more difficult and worse for themselves

    Don't think they wanted to 'take him out' in the City, too many witnesses etc.
    Not really a pot hole if the agency were trying to lure him out to the middle of nowhere.

    WhAt? He was in the safe house.. No witnesses. In the middle of nowhere practically. Also they wanted him alive not dead, as frost stated in the interrogating room

    Because the team sent to the safe house to interrogate him was sent by the 'good' CIA person (Vera Farmiga's character), but the team sent to kill him were sent by Brendan Gleeson's character

    {edit: or am i misunderstanding your question?}

    That still makes no sense. She was under their authority it's not like they couldn't command the team to do something different. To add on to this, why did Keller attack the main character?
