Suspected loud speaker damage on Mondeo

My old man suspects the speakers are damaged on his Ford Mondeo (I already made a joke about his questionable taste in music:D).
I had a listen and something definitely sounds amiss. It sounds like the speakers are either blown or a faulty connection, you know that fuzzy sound, and more obvious when bass is increased.

Anyway, who would you bring the car to? auto electrical mechanic or a dedicated in-car sound system shop? Just wondering.
