There are two people in my junior cert who use this tippex type wheel. It clicks like mad and they seem to use it all the time. It really annoys me and I'm just wondering what you think? Should I say something to the super? http://images.office365.co.uk/pim/354431.jpg

I wouldn't, to be honest, they really don't make very much noise at all!

I've seen people using these yokes, and they make no more noise than someone opening a banana, or a bottle of water! (Actually, probably even less noise.)

I'd say you might be just a wee bit hypersensitive to noise, maybe.

We have noisy builders right outside our exam centre drilling throughout all the exams Tippex is hardly anything.

No, I wouldn't say anything. We also have building going on outside our gym, which is where we're doing the exams. And the gym has a metal roof so when it rains it's really noisy. And there's a primary school right beside us, so when the kids are having their lunch you can hear them talking and laughing...
So just chill, and don't become so frustrated over tippex, lol xD

Forget the sounds around you and focus on the questions.

I know the feeling. In one of my exams, someone kept tapping their pen every two seconds without fail. Tap.. tap.. tap.. tap.. it was like Chinese water torture. I wanted to smack them. No one else appeared to have noticed though.

Honestly, I wouldn't say anything. There's nothing that the superintendent can really do, because Tippex isn't banned (I don't think so anyway.) Just try to phase it out and concentrate on the questions.

Don't use tippex for the Maths exam, its not recommended, just cross it twice.

The fire alarm went off last friday in our school for about 15 mins, and by god that's louder that a tippex mouse.

But concentrate on the paper and you won't hear it.

    Don't use tippex full stop.
If you make a mistake, put a line through it and carry on.
