I have just completed my first year of my science degree - just wondering how to go about getting some sort of lab job or work experience in Dublin? Some science experience would be great!

call in places and say you are looking for summer work.. with the way the country is going you may have to take unpaid work and since you are justn a summer student not much decent experience either..
best bet is a small scale place which may offer you a place since you can cover when they have a couple of places going on hols at the same time.
i worked in water manufacturers over the summer, they ddi just what i said, place im currently does that too but has taken on their few summer recruits already
