    Hi,

Does anybody know for sure how to do out the 95% confidence interval? It seems to be dumbed down from the old papers, so now are we just meant to use 1/√n as the margin or error and add and subtract that from the mean now?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    sample proportion = p^
    population proportion = p
Margin of error = 1/rootn where n = sample size

    p^ - 1/rootn < p < p^ + 1/rootn
