Congrats London Christy Ring champions 2012. Beating Wicklow 4-18 to 1-17. Following on from winning the Rackard Cup last year. I wonder if they will enter the McCarthy Cup next season, and if so into what province? Munster surely

Great win indeed. Its a sign of the times we're in however when you see how strong a team they now have. Its a shame they will be little if any coverage of this in the media.

It would be interesting to see where they go from hear. If they were to move up they would be still somewhat behind the other McCarty Cup teams even the ''weaker'' teams.

And we were the only team to beat them :( Think we could have given them a game had we not had a horrible referee against Wicklow in the semi final.

Well done to London. Great to see it and hopefully it can help encourage the game over there.

I assume this success though is a reflection on the nature of the playing resources London have, i.e. the fact that it is so dependent on ex pats and thus the fortunes can change quickly. I think we have beaten London recently in hurling and yet a Christy Ring would be well beyond us.
