    what, in your opinion, will happen sterling, in the immediate and long term future, if the euro breaks up?

    the uk economy is in rescession despite a few years of stimulus , things dont look good at all across the water , they rely on london too much and financials are looking shaky throughout europe at the moment , in the event of a euro breakup , the pound would suffer

    if your worried about a euro collapse , buy the american dollar or better still , american treasurys - goverment bonds

    german bonds are safe but they charge you for them , such is the demand

    What happens $ when china flood the market with us debt?

    The euro has problems but nothing like $/pound probs...

    Usa bonds dont have value and in the times we are in, only buy bargain basement eg. euro....

    sky/ bbc/rte slate euro ,euro = mouse/ look for elephant

    EURO is here to stay!!! no one seriously thinks otherwise....(chicken licken):cool:
