Just wondering is there a recommended procedure to follow if selling a vehicle with built-in TT navigation. I'm thinking that the SD card is tied to the Carminat in the vehicle so it must accompany the car to the new owner....so what should be done to transfer the car but keep the maps etc. for the new car? (I hope I make myself clear)!

long story short, but you will have to scrape your initals in too the bonnet to prove your transfering the owenership of the tt over

Puzzle Factory. If you have nothing helpful to add then don't post.
Do you have a TomTom home or My Tom Tom account that this device is linked to?
If so you connect a new device to your PC when My Tom Tom or Tom Tom home sees the new device it will give you a message .
Connected device not linked to this account.
Log in with another account ?
Link connected device to this account?

Select that option and you should be offered any maps you own.

Thanks for that. I do have a TT Home A/C that the Carminat is linked to. So should the original SD card go to the new owner or garage or be retained by me?
