Stronger League : AL or NL?

    Lets try to start some actual discussion in here.

    Which is the stronger league? Or at least the most exciting?

    I have a feeling most will go for the AL but it has to be said that 3 of the last 4 World Series' Champions have been from the NL.

    If we go on Interleague records the AL is slightly better but is that the best statistic to use?

    2012: 31-25 at the moment to the AL
    Overall: 1970 - 1798 to the AL

    The thing with the World Series is that the best baseball team of the year doesn't necessarily always win it so I wouldn't use whoever wins that as indicting which league is better.

    As for most exciting, I still prefer the NL because of the pitcher having to bat but the DH or no DH is an argument for a different thread I think.
