KwikMedia Installation Error

    I tried to install Nero KwikMedia 11.2.00900 (free version), which i downloaded from the Nero website, but keep getting the following error during installation, and it then refuses to install:

    I then thought about buying the latest Nero, but the same may happen. Anybody encounter this error before.

    Obvious to say it has to do with the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008.

    I went to:

    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29

    and downloaded and installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 without a hitch. Tried installing KwikMedia again, but again same error.

    Try downloading the VC 2008 SP1 libraries and see if it helps. Looks to me like Nero is trying to install the 32bit version but is failing to. If your on 64bit Windows try the Nero KwikMedia 64bit version (if available)

    thanks once again that download worked.

    :D can't say much for KwikMedia now that's its installed.
