Not sure what to apply for

Last year I did a level 5 Fetac course and received BTEA as a mature student.

This year I am applying to do an Accounting Technician course but I don't know whether to apply for the same again or some sort of grant?

The course is also 25km from my house so I'll be driving 200km a week (4 day a week course, round trip each day) so can I get some kind of allowance towards petrol as well?

    Would appreciate any advice.

Who runs the accounting technician course?

Is it one of the approved institutions listed in this document?

I think (but I'm not really sure) that you won't be entitled to any grant

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

It's Colaiste Abbain in Adamstown, Wexford.

    Yes it's on that list.

    Really no grant or BTEA?
    Why not?

It's a two year course if that matters.

Is it like a level 6 course - I just think it might not be an approved course - could be totally wrong.

I've been trying to find out. The website says its a level 5 on the English qfc which is somewhere between a level 6 and 7 over here I think.
