    Hi!

I have flights booked with Ryanair and noticed on my itinerary that I'm listed as "Mr" instead of "Miss", should I call Ryanair about this, and will I be charged for a name change, or is it okay to just leave it? Same thing happened to me when I was flying with Aer Lingus and no one batted an eyelid, anyone know if it's the same with Ryanair?

The only reason that airlines want a title is to distinguish adult males from females so that they can estimate the weight of the passengers which in turn is part of the process for working out how much fuel they need for the flight.

There is a different 'average' weight for adult males and females. It's unlikely that at check-in anyone will notice so I wouldn't raise it.

No need to contact them for that at all.
