In Dublin I can get TnaG and TV3 perfectly on analog channels. I am shopping in Asda Enniskillen and they have a load of Goodman and own brand boxes marked Freeview+Digital, including a PVR for 89stg
    Will these work with Saorview?

Freeview HD/Freeview+ HD should work somewhat, but not Freeview+. How well it will work is variable, probably not worth it unless you can actually get Freeview as well as Saorview.

Don't buy TVs up North. You need to get a Saorview compatable TV for ROI. For example a freeview TV probably won't get any of the channels, a freeviewHd compatable probably won't give the TV guide nor the interactive content.

Only buy a TV that has a Saorview sticker on it (they are selling TV's in ROI that still are not compatable)

Just to say that some stores here in NI are selling Saorview compatible TVs and are marked as such but best to check before purchasing whether they will get all the Saorview facilities as posted above. My Sony Freeview HD PVR has limited epg on Saorview channels and can't timer record from both Freeview and Saorview but will manually record from both. Out of interest what interactive content is available at present on Saorview?
