    Hi,

    I have a 2007 golf I need to get serviced. Its out of warrantly so, does anyone have any recommendations for a service on the South side of dublin (around dun laoghaire).

    Its petrol and DSG.

    You could get yourself the Haynes manual and save yourself a lot of money. After my first new car had a service I realised I could have done the same for a third of the cost.

    Thanks Boomslang, to be honest I dont really have a clue about servicing the car.

    If the car was a bit older I might give it a go but I would be worried about damaging it.

    I have had a lot of trouble with the car previously - I suppose this just puts me off even more.
