pheasant chicks

    ive a hen due to hatch pheasant chicks, do i keep them in the box i have the hen in for a while after hatching?

    yes you can but keep an eye on them as the chicks will try to follow the hen if she leaves the box for food/water etc if one or two get out and can't get back in and she still has some in the box they will die pretty quickly
    i always move them to something the chicks can get in and out of easily after a day or so or a large container that she can brood them in and move about in
