Hi lads,

I have recently had a bit of Gearbox problems, with my car which is not under warranty. The car is a 2007 with 90,000km on it.

I brought it to a very highly recommended garage who charged me €1850 to replace the clutch, gearbox bearings, and also to do the brake pads while it was in.

Nine weeks later, I still havn't got me car back.

The car was given back to me with a horrible noise comming from the gearbox.
i brought it straight back, and I spent the last 8 weeks, extending my temporary insurance cover on a tiny Seat Ibiza!

I've been given loads of exuses but no answers.

Today they finally contacted me to say that the "Syncro" in the gearbox is rattling when its warm, and they have never seen such a problem.

So now I've to extend my insurance for another two weeks, as they need a specialist to come over from the UK!:eek:

I have explained that I am not paying a penny more.
They tried to argue but gave up...

Has anybody any advise on what I can do next?
I've been very patient, the garage have been very nice about everything, but they have also been completely incompetent!
