good radiator flush?

    can anyone recommend a good rad flush or have any tips on how to clean out a particularly bad clogged radiator?

    Drain your coolant and refill with water (heater set to hot). Do this a 3 times. Run and rev the engine for a bit after each refill.

    Remove the rad. Hold it on its side and stick a hose in the top and flush it out with water. Reconnect the rad a refill with water/anti freeze.

    I've never bothered with a rad flush although vinegar is supposed to be good.

    Cillit Bang is supposed to be very good for this job (I kid you not!), assuming that it's the coolant passages that need to be cleaned, and not the air passages through the fins.
