weather is promised fine tomorrow but i reckon it would take a few days to dry out from all that rain. I have a flood in my back garden!

I think with the high winds we're having now, most courses should be open in the morning.

Leinster Barton Shield Qualifying on tomorrow. Can't see the GUI allowing the closure of any of those courses.

    Barton Shield - Leinster Qualifying
The qualifying stages for the Barton Shield take place on the weekend of Sat 9th/Sun 10th June at six venues throughout Leinster.

Due to adverse weather conditions the Stroke Play Qualifying round at New Forest GC scheduled for Saturday has been deferred until Sunday morning. The Match Play semi-finals will take place on Sunday afternoon, no date has yet been set for the final.

Qualifying at all other venues is still scheduled to go ahead as planned. Any change to this will be advised to participating clubs.

Results will be updated each evening and available to view here.

Due to play a medal in the morning, if this weather keeps up I'd be fairly tempted to text my playing partners and stay in bed to watch the rugby :)

Tomorrow will bring sunny spells and some scattered showers though Northeastern parts will be rather cloudy.

I think there will be qualifiers over the weekend but it might be lift clean and place on fairways and play as it lies in the rough?

Grange, Rathfarnham is closed for the last two days, reviewing in the morning to see if the Presidents Prize will be on, but either way will be open for casual golf in the afternoon.

due to play in the morning as well.
Stiff breeze in greystones/delgany area, so hoping there's a bucket load of wind tonight...
