This is on offer on pigsback and for a non tech savy person are these specs any good
    Specifications:
    • 3Watt LED Lamp
    • Projection size: 15” to 50”
    • Resolution 640 x 480 pixels
    • Powered by USB
    • Projector measures: 9cm x 6cm x 2cm
Would it be worth getting and do you need a really dark room to enjoy / see the picture?

A dark room and it needs to be close to the screen. Not something you'd use on a regular basis.

We have one in a club I'm a member of and it's good for the odd presentation, but the quality isn't great.

Unless you are using it for business/presentations, I wouldn't recommend buying that for home entertainment.

For daylight viewing you probably need a 3000 lumen projector. But that then *could* be blinding if you are watching in a totally dark room/small room.

Also get a 720p projector minimum!

    * I dont own a 3000 lumen (so Im open to correction ;)) but I do own a 1500 and its just right for dark viewing :)
