You can, but the result will generally be unproductive for all concerned.

Generally no as SalteeDog posts above as they have no satellite tuner (DVB-S/S2) just a terrestrial tuner (DVB-T), some TVs do have a built-in satellite tuner e.g. the Samsung range with model no. ending UXXU

Bombidol please explan how you are currently getting TV at the moment, which channels you have, which providers, how many TVs, if the TVs are Saorview enabled, what channels you would like and we can advise best setup.

To answer your question a Saorview TV needs a TV aerial pointed at the nearest mast NOT a dish. With this setup you get the Irish Channels only which is un-necessary as the UK channels are free via a dish, but you need a different setup.

saorview= dvb t= digital terrestrial= aerial. ireland . plug an aerial in to the tv.
satellite dish= satellite channels(bbc from uk or other channels from other countrys) = dvb s/s2 .
if the dish was used for sky then a sky box will give u bbc cheap . freesat box is ideal, or fta satellite receiver (free to air). not the was to go if all u want is uk channels
