peugeot 308 depollution system faulty problems

    Hi all, having the below fault with my (08) 308 HDi(90bhp). Short version: - Depollution System Faulty warning on radio HUD

    could anyone give some of ideas of what the fault mite be it. I notice it was under accelerating before the Depollution System Faulty warning came on thank you

    That is just a generic warning that is displayed when something goes wrong.

    To find out the cause you really need to get it connected to diagnostics.

    Speculation won't get you anywhere, the cause could be anything from a cheap problem like a glow plug to a very expensive issue like a DPF problem.

    it was in peugeot twice and was told it was fixed both times. Just wonder if anyone has the same sort of problems to see what there fix was

    As George said the "Depollution System Faulty" warning can be anything really..post your location and maybe someone here can help with a diagnostic check...:)

    I thought the 90bhp version of the 1.6 HDi didn't have a DPF.
