Is it formatted to Fat32 or NTFS?
When you format it what amount of free space does it say in "my computer"?

FAT32 and 29.8gb's. Only did a quick format.

My c/drive file system is NTFS so is that the problem, do I need to format stick to this, and will a quick format do or best do a full one, if so.

If the file you are trying to copy is more than 4gb you must format the disk to NTFS
