    do you really need the DMS button? I just always work in decimals, as the marking schemes use them as do the questions.

    It's between (-) and hyp buttons. It's great for the questions involving time. :)

    Yes they do. I don't know if I could do a maths exam without a calculator, my mind would be frazzled.

    Of course, we would be lost without them, the trigonometry section would be very difficult ( answers would be quite large and very complex sums) converting surds,fractions the quadratic forumla , there's loads of reasons why.
