I know a fair bit but I think I've skipped a few important chapters that needs to be known.

For the long questions, what are the main topics you've studied/should be revised?

Rivers, waterfalls, urban settlement, population distribution, and rocks. But PLEASE don't quote me, I'm only guessing.

    I'm wondering the same.

I'd do a Q5 because it always comes up. Make sure you can draw the sketch map, with labels, key etc.

I think volcanoes could come up in the long questions as well. MAke sure to know the stuff for the map/photograph question. :)

There's always a question on physical geography (rivers, volcanoes etc..) one on mechanical or chemical erosion, settlement and urbanisation. There is always a question related to drawing a map.

I usually don't study mechanical/chemical erosion because I hate it. Do you think it would come up again because I think (correct me if I'm wrong) it came up in the mocks?

Mocks have no affect on what comes up on the actual exam. In fact I'd say they were more a prediction of what will come up than what won't. But really, they're just made for money.

Id say if people are gonna revise topics like volcaneos and that.. Practice exam questions on that topic and use your book, dont just use your book..

You would have gotten a different mock exam than me. Each school chooses where it's going to get the papers from, I believe.

But I think there are only two companies that do them anyway.
I'm on skoool.ie looking over the physical Geogrpahy quickly for the short questions where you need 1 word answers.

Hopefully Q3,4,5 have no Physical Geography in them.

Just cos something came up in the mocks doesnt mean it wont come up again. Mocks are made by companies to make money. They have nothing to do with the state examinations commission and dont dictate what comes up in state exams.

You're correct, but when these companies are making these papers they will look at previous S.E.C. papers and try estimate what they think will be on the paper for the current year.
