    i use size two mepps meself,seem to get less sprats and more decent size fish on them rather than size one

    I use size 2 silver bronze or gold seem to work the best for big trout and usually let them sink before retrieving if in deep water

    Well my mate caught a pike in blessington on a size 1 mepps bout 15 year ago and it was 34lb So don't think size always matters :D
