    Folks,

    I know this topic comes up a lot and I usually chirp in with the recommendation of Risk Alliance's Photo-Shield policy in the UK, but unfortunately they've introduced a new policy which isn't ready to be released in Ireland just yet. This means I've to go on the hunt for somewhere else despite being with RA for a couple of happy and peaceful years.

    I've searched Google and came up with CameraInsurance.ie with whom I've submitted a request for a quotation. Has anyone ever had any experience with them? If not, any recommendations?

    I'm looking for equipment cover both in the office and on the road, along with a substantial PLI. Last year's policy was €350 all in so I'm looking forward to seeing what prices the Irish insurers can come up with ...

    I have my gear insured with camerainsurance.ie and I know plenty of others who are using them too.

    Derek (Balfey1972) is on boards and is a director of that insurance broker. Brilliant guy to deal with.
