Buying Desktop for SME

Hi.

I need to get a good desktop for a fairly busy motor factors.
I want good memory and Disk space but I'm not sure what is Ok, Good or excellent nowadays.
I would also like some form of back up application where it saves to an external hard drive - Connected by USB I'd imagine.
Please do not Mention Seagate as I've had brutal experience with them.

Something like a Core i3/i5 CPU, 4-8Gig RAM, 750-1tb hard drive (You won't have any choice over hard drive picking going the package built route, Seagate arn't all that bad and also own most of the Hd market now (Maxtor, Samsung)), Windows 7 Pro (Professional version has Windows XP Mode, which may be handy and also windows automated Backup) etc...

That's a very strong system, with most of the specs from yoyo's post. Great components, and great warranties. I could spec you a cheaper build if required, or one with a bit more oomph (you probably wouldn't benefit, though).

That's from a German website called Hardwareversand.de. Great company to deal with, and their prices are amazing. If you wanted a similarly priced Dell or HP, you'd be paying nearly twice as much. The way I have it assembled would mean it would arrive at your door with all components installed, and Windows installed. They only take bank transfer or PayPal at a 3% charge.
