I was replacing a 5kg gas cylinder recently and I noticed that the dealer had a new 6KG lightweight cylinder. He told me that the 6kg refill was the same price as the 5kg. Has anyone switched over yet and how much did it cost to change adapters etc?

I believe they're the same Calor connection. The reason for the change was because EU legislature has insisted that all gas bottles should have valve protecting collars.
Haven't tried them because they're too big for my compartment I just get the 5kg's refilled locally these days. If in doubt contact a Calor dealer.

Funny that they're branded lightweight and 1kg heavier.
