Android Bird App

Just downloaded an app off the play store called Birds of Britain

It costs the princely sum of 72c,but has almost 300 species of bird,with multiple pictures and song snippets,along with info.
Best of all,once you have downloaded all the files,it works completely on the phone,with no need for the internet.

Did you have any problem getting this to work? I have it installed, but it's telling me I need to go into settings and clear data. I've done that but it just keeps repeating.

My wife has iBird UK & Ireland on her iPhone which is great, and apparently they are bringing out an Android version of that soon.

No problems at all.Maybe there is not enough space on your card,as the app stores nearly a gig of data.

you could try reinstalling it.

or else download link2sd.

if you have low space on your phone and loads in your sd card, this allows you to hold some or most of your apps on the sd card freeing up space on your phone.

I've tried it a few times with no joy. I've read their notes on their page, and it seems to be a common problem.

Yes,I'd heard there were a few odd errors.Mind you it sounded better than a screech!

True. It was the first one I went into to test it. As soon as I had pressed play, I thought to myself 'actually Barn Owl isn't the best one to test it on'. I needn't have worried.
